How much does Go cost?

Go is free for faculty and the institution. Students purchase a subscription based upon the amount of time they will need access to the platform. Some institutions choose to buy Go for their students and we are able offer bulk discounts for large purchases. Scroll down this page for all the details on pricing.

What are the technical requirements?

Go is web-based, with a unique login for each student. You only need internet access. You do not need additional software or downloads. Go can be used on any computer or browser, and is optimized for use down to a 7” mini tablet touch screen.

Can Go be used for IPE?

Yes! Go supports IPE (interprofessional education) with EHR patient cases and content for all disciplines. Every case in the Go library has suggested teaching uses and curricular concept mapping for each discipline as well as IPE usage suggestions.

Can I create my own patients? Can I edit your patients?

Absolutely! You can add your own content and all of our patient cases and activities are completely customizable. When you edit content, you retain the original version in your case library and  your custom version gets added to your private case library. You can do collaborative customization with faculty from within your school or even invite colleagues from other schools to collaborate on custom content with you.

What kind of documentation do you have?

We have hundreds of different types of documentation formats to choose from: surveys, scored screening tools, narrative assessments, structured exams, orders, coded problem lists, vitals, labs, and care plans. We also have a free service to add new documentation formats as well.

What kind of downtime do you have? What kind of support?

We never have any downtime, and we offer 24/7 tech support. We also have a dedicated faculty teaching team – curricular experts and former healthcare educators – ready to help you as you work with Go. What patient case topics do you have?

How easy is the training for faculty?

Training is a cinch – you can do it on your own time, at your own pace. We offer a five-video “Getting Started” series, with a total running time of less than 15 minutes. In fact, most users find they don’t need training because Go has been designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, but we are always available for questions or curricular sessions if you need them.

Do you offer training for students?

Students begin with a Go Orientation activity which provides them with a detailed walk-through of the system without extensive training. We designed Go to be very intuitive so students can follow the steps right on the screen to be able to use Go.

How do my students get access?

Students will use a subscription to access Go, which is treated like any course material. There are seven subscription term options, each is renewable, and cost is per student.

Students can purchase online or in the bookstore with financial aid. Some schools choose to purchase for the students instead. We offer bulk discounts starting at 200 subscriptions bought by the school – ask us for more info.

Can I preview before adopting?

Students subscribe at the level that best fits their schedule. Subscriptions can be purchased online through us, or in your bookstore. Some schools choose to buy for their students* – it just depends on your structure and needs.

There are several subscription terms available and your students are welcome to choose which works best for them. The subscription does not start until the student activates it on our site with a code provided from the instructor.

*For schools that choose to purchase for their students, we offer a bulk discount that starts at 5% for 200 subscriptions, then goes up 1% for every 100 subscriptions above that (it tops off at 25%). The discount is applied per invoice. Any unactivated subscriptions remain as a credit on your account for future terms. For example, if you only needed 150 this term but purchased 200 to get the discount, the 50 extra could be used whenever you’d like in the future.
