Kathleen is driven by a passion for education that engages through human stories. She effectively used storytelling as a professor of nursing and IPE simulation before bringing educational patient stories to the world through the electronic health record (EHR) platform with Neehr Perfect and EHR Go. Kathleen loves solving puzzles. She thinks of healthcare professionals as investigators of the human condition puzzle and believes human curiosity is the best accelerant for learning. Kathleen is a licensed registered nurse and family nurse practitioner.
Don founded Archetype Innovations, LLC with Kathleen and Shad in 2008. Prior to that, he served in supervisory, management and executive technology positions for about thirty years, including seventeen years with Sterling Software, INC (NYSE) through 1998 and later became an independent business management consultant. He is a graduate of The American University, with a BS in Management of Technology and an MBA from Hood College. Don is a combat-wounded veteran following service with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Shad is passionate about the intersection of science and technology. With more than 20 years experience pursuing those passions, he believes technology is successful only when it’s approachable. Technology should fade into the background and allow humans to more proficiently engage the task at hand. A fan of kittens, Shad holds a BA in computer science from Augsburg College.
Andy has a passion for learning and enhancing student outcomes in the classroom. He has worked in a wide variety of roles and leadership areas in higher education technology over the past 10 years. His favorite part of the job is the relationships he has the opportunity to build with faculty and coordinators, while playing a role in making a difference in their lives and the lives of their students. When he’s not helping faculty and programs with EHR Go, you can typically find Andy on a ball field or basketball court coaching and cheering on his two young children. Andy holds a BA in Business and Computer Information Systems from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.
Josh has been involved in educational technology and health care for nearly 15 years, ranging from his time in the Cath lab through his current focus helping students become career-ready with experiential, case-based technology. He is an engineer by trade, but has always enjoyed the relational side of business and likes to blend those skills by truly understanding customer needs while creatively designing solutions to meet them. Josh is a huge fan of West Michigan summers and pretty much every sport. In his downtime you can find him trying to keep up with his four boys on the basketball court. Josh holds a BS in Materials Science Engineering from Michigan State University.
Julie loves collaborating with instructors who are bringing new technology to their program and is happiest when supporting customers in reaching their goals. She has worked in the Ed Tech field for fifteen years as a consultant and an implementation manager and brings both teaching and hands-on experience working with students to the role. In her downtime, you can find her hanging around with (or trying to find!) her husband and two teenage children. Otherwise, she will be running, paddle boarding, biking, or working in her yard. Julie holds a BA in English from University of California, Santa Barbara and an MA in English Literature from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Amy wants to do more than just keep customers happy. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, she is obsessed with the learning process and building personal relationships. She loves to examine content and help customers choose the best way to implement EHR Go. Amy’s goal is simple – to empower her customers and help them achieve success in their classroom. When she isn’t working you can find Amy hiking in the woods, experimenting with recipes, reading, or doing yoga – preferably on a beach. Amy holds a BA in Environmental Science and Biology and is licensed to teach secondary education.
Sarah’s first passion is words, both written and spoken, and from that comes her gift for communication. As Director of Sales, Sarah sits in on every EHR Go demo and follows up personally with each program, answering any questions or needs until they’re ready to make their decision. Her goal is to make sure every prospect gets the time and attention they deserve. Sarah believes clear and personalized communication is the hallmark of not just good sales, but happy customers. Sarah received her BA in English from the University of Tulsa, and has published two books.
Emily has always loved making meaningful connections through authentic and personable communication. When she walks educators through the capability and features of EHR Go, whether online or at healthcare conferences, she closes the gap between curiosity and enthusiasm. Her goal is to provide programs with the information they need to make an informed decision about a product and a company that connects students to real-world experiences. Emily received her BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and spends most of her free time exploring random hobbies and traveling the world.
DiDi has a passion for the world of higher education, and loves working with educators to show them the ways that EHR Go can help their program thrive. With years of experience working behind the scenes, she believes that organization, an open mindset, and clear communication are crucial for success in every task that she takes on. When she isn’t working with prospective schools, DiDi can be found on stage (performing everything from musical theatre to opera), teaching young singers, and hunting for vintage clothes. DiDi studied music performance and arts administration and holds a BFA from Western Kentucky University.
Amy is a lifelong learner and is happiest when immersed in learning. Joining the Go team has allowed her to continue in an atmosphere of education and collaboration. Amy manages Go’s vast content library and identifies content themes to meet the unique educational objectives of healthcare programs. Amy also brings legal expertise to the Go team and serves as point of contact for customer legal and procurement departments throughout the Go adoption process. She enjoys identifying innovative approaches to negotiation and problem solving through legal research and analysis as in-house counsel. Amy holds an MA in higher education administration from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law.
Michelle has a knack for figuring out information systems and showing others, from novice on up, how to utilize the endless capabilities they have to offer. She measures her success as our Implementation Success Specialist by the number of times she hears the phrases “that’s going to make my life easier,” “so cool,” and “love that” during the new-start process. Michelle self-identifies as a modern-day homesteader but won’t fully embrace the status until she convinces her husband to get a brood of chickens. When she’s not busy gardening, you can find her and her squad on one of the many Minnesota lakes – frozen or not. Michelle received her BS Degree in Business Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Tom believes that the essence of quality support is empathy, expertise, and excitement. After a 15-year career in the United States Army Reserve, he now applies his knowledge of training and technical expertise to the healthcare education industry. Tom works directly with faculty and students to provide the top-tier technical and user support EHR Go customers have come to expect. Tom holds many certifications for Army training and chemical defense and has received numerous medals and awards from the United States Army.
Kelley is a storyteller and a strategist. She believes effective communication is the key to solving the sticky problems that we face today. She has worn many hats, in both the marketing and design fields, and is happiest when she can blend the two together in ways that make relevant information accessible and clear. Her goal is to create compelling narratives that connect with the audience, enabling them to fulfill their own potential through the application of the information at hand. Kelley studied communications and graphic design and holds a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Liz loves solving mysteries through research and data. Her ability to spot abnormalities quickly, track them down, and resolve the issue come from over 20 years of experience crunching numbers. And at the end of the day, 2+2 always equals 4! In her spare time, Liz appreciates a good book or a day in the garden, enjoying a quiet life in the foothills of North Carolina. Liz holds a BS in Accounting and an MS in Forensic Accounting, both from the University at Albany.
Nick is a Quality Automation Engineer turned DevOps Engineer. He specializes in test automation and development process improvements and holds a proven track record of improving efficiencies and deliveries across organizations. Nick is a powerful force in the workplace who uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed around him. Nick received his BA in Business Management from Loras College. Shortly after college he discovered the world of software quality assurance and the rest is history. He enjoys spending free time with his wife and four children wherever their next adventure takes them.
